Me! Ow! Claws scratch! Its fur is mat-like thatch. A furball rumbles up. From a cat, but not a pup. Meow, the feline purrs To feline cherishers Who love such critters dear, While others think it queer. Me! Ow! Teeth might bite, If one causes cat-ish fright. If one steps upon a tail, One hears that feline wail! Whiskers neath those fluffy ears Are part of why the cat endears.
