There is a fab little painting programme out there, very cheaply, called Artrage. I have only just started scratching the surface of what it can do - but the paint effects are truly outstanding and very 'real'. The site is here if you want to have a look at it. For anyone who likes to work digitally for whatever reason, yet doesn't want things to look typically 'flat', then this is a good way to go without having to buy one of the heftier and more expensive programmes available.
tried it, sighed, it
ReplyDeletewas for me all thumbs,
i'd spit, i'd quit
and leave it to my chums;
virtual brushes brushed me off,
virtual colors seemed to scoff,
i'll ply other mediums . . .
I love ArtRage. LOVE IT.
ReplyDeleteYou know, at LVS, you can take an online class - cheap - I think it was $30.00 and even though the program is pretty in tuitive it helped a lot with all the extra. The class was for ArtRage 2.5 - I don't know if that is the one you have or if you got the newest but most of the tools are the same in theory.
